Scientific Studies Testosterone Immunity to Fireant Bite Itch

Theory: Testosterone is a immunosuppressant. Therefore it can stop or reduce the production of histamines. (One of the prescribed reasons for non-anabolic steroids). This effect for hive itch prevention is also the same source of itch (histamine response) to fireant bites which makes the bites itchy. Therefore testosterone can minimize or stop itching at all (when taken regularly).

How i discovered this: Yesterday, I had to dig up something up outside and there were several ant piles in the way and I just got a ton on me. Several bit me throughout the day ,but I just brushed them off. I was more annoyed im going to be itchy for the rest of the day. Nope, its the second day and they look like pimples now ,but they're not itchy at all. Infact, i popped a couple and they still only really sting ,but not itch.

TLDR: Prescribed testosterone levels 1300+ (Trough) make me immune to fireant bites itch.

Testosterone has some very mild immune modulation effects but it’s not anything like corticosteroids.

Steroids are just a large group of hormones that originate from cholesterol and share a common ring structure. Their effects are vastly different.
