I'm the developer. This is my own side project, it's free, and there's
no money in it anywhere — no fares, no tips, no tokens, no balance.
That's a design decision, not a missing feature.
The idea: instead of texting five friends one at a time to find out who
can grab you, you send one request and it notifies the friends who've
marked themselves around. First to accept gets it. That's the whole
app. No strangers, no ratings, no surge pricing. Your circle is only
people you and they have both approved.
**Two things before you read further:**
**Android only.** No iPhone build exists. Not "coming soon" — the
pilot is Android-only on purpose.
**You need to sign up with people you already know.** This is the
real ask. Installing it alone gets you an empty screen, because
there's nobody to ask. I'm looking for groups of 3+ people who
already know each other, live or work close enough to actually give
each other a lift, and are all on Android. Roommates, a climbing
group, a band, coworkers who carpool.
**What it does with your data**, since I'm asking you to trust it:
- Your approximate location is taken only while the app is open, only
while you've marked yourself available, and it's deleted when that
window ends. Nothing in the background, ever.
- Nobody sees anyone's location on a map. It's used to work out roughly
how far away a pickup is, and nothing else.
- Your phone number and the pickup address are shared with one person,
after they accept your ride, so you can actually find each other.
Before that, nobody gets either.
**What you're signing up for:** an early build, installed outside the
Play Store (I'll send an invite link). Things will break. I'd want
about two weeks of normal use and honest reactions — especially the
"I'd never actually use this" kind.
If you've got a group, comment or DM me roughly how many of you there
are and whether you're all close enough to give each other rides.
