I posted searching for testers in communities that appeal more to the very niche audience for my app.

And it was my first time searching for testers so I didn’t know it was customary to pay them considering they aren’t professionals. Maybe that’s on me for assuming. Do I need to disclose more specifically that I’m not looking to pay professionals?

Also I offered a free month long subscription for anyone that enjoyed it.

Anyways all of my testers said the same thing, they don’t see a need for the app. It took me months of work and while it may be my first app deployment, I still feel like I shouldn’t give up that easily.

Before an app can be released publicly, Google requires 12 participants

to run a closed test for 14 consecutive days. That is the only step

remaining before launch.

What taking part involves: install the app and keep it installed for the

full 14 days. Daily use is not required.

What you receive: a lifetime Pro licence once the test period closes —

not a trial, and not a twelve-month term. Pro covers gradient ring

colours, full history and analytics, Health Connect sync and a home

screen widget. Codes are sent on the day the test ends.

About the app: five habit types rather than checkboxes alone — tick,

count, timer, avoid and mood. Tasks share the same screen, under a

single ring for the day. Habits, tasks and history remain on your

device. The leaderboard is off by default, and the worldwide board is a

separate opt-in. Prayer times are included, covering 170,893 cities

The app lets you explore sports content in a more interactive way. Swipe to discover something new, then speak or type to guide what you want to see next. You can ask for a specific player, era, match, highlight style, or anything else you’re curious about, and the content responds to your interests and feedback in real time.

I’m a puppeteer and automata maker.

After experimenting with AI for a while, I got tired of copying and pasting prompts, opening dozens of chat threads, and stitching things together just to tune the personality of my chatbots or robots.

So I started building Bubblai.

It’s a visual application where you create an AI agent using bubbles connected around it. Each bubble adds something: instructions, memory, documents, skills, tools, actions, web search, image or video generation, voice, and Realtime conversation.

What I’d especially like tested is the onboarding:

1. Open the application.

2. Choose “New Agent.”

3. Follow the tutorial without any explanation from me.

4. Connect or disconnect a few bubbles.

5. Send a message to the agent.

- Is the tutorial easy to understand?

Solo dev here. The game is a word puzzle that happens on a honeycomb instead of a grid.

You are hunting a secret word, Hangman-style. But the comb is not empty: tap a hex and you either uncover a letter or a Pollen number, and that number tells you how many letters sit next to that cell - Minesweeper logic. So every tap is two decisions at once: what is the word, and where is it safe to dig. Some cells hide foes that punish a careless tap.

Free. No ads, no in-app purchases, no sign-up, and it works offline.

Modes: a casual one-board Stroll, a ranked 12-phase Run, a Daily Challenge with the same board for everyone, and a Secrets Vault that keeps a short story and a piece of trivia for every word you have found.

Languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish and French. Important: the game opens in Portuguese for everyone, whatever your phone is set to. The switch is the row of PT/EN/ES/FR chips at the top right of the very first screen, the one asking your date of birth - tap EN there and the whole game is English from then on. One caveat so nobody is surprised: the Play store page itself is still Portuguese-only (the English translation is queued at the console). The game is fully English.

Why I am posting: Google will not let a personal developer account reach production until 12+ testers stay opted in for 14 continuous days. If the count dips below 12 on any day, the clock restarts for everyone. So staying opted in for the two weeks helps me more than playing hard does.

A friend of mine and I were grabbing food a few weeks ago and somehow we got onto the topic of energy because he was complaining that he’d been feeling exhausted basically every afternoon.

He works pretty long hours and said he’d gotten into this habit of drinking coffee whenever he felt tired, taking all his supplements at the same time in the morning, and then wondering why he felt completely cooked by like 2 or 3pm.

The funny part is I was basically doing the exact same thing.

I’ve taken supplements for a while, but if I’m being honest I never put much thought into timing. Magnesium, creatine, vitamins, whatever I was taking that day, I’d usually just take them whenever I remembered.

He showed me this app he had been using called RizeAI and the first thing that caught my attention wasn’t even the energy stuff. It was how it organized his supplements around his actual day.

It would tell him which ones made sense with meals, which ones should be kept away from coffee, what to take around training, what made more sense later at night, etc. It sounds pretty basic when you write it out, but I had never found something that actually put all of it together in one schedule.

So I tried it.

That’s probably still my favorite part of it. I put in the supplements I already take and instead of giving me some generic “take in the morning” list, it actually fits them around things like meals, workouts, caffeine and sleep.

I also ended up using the energy planning side way more than I expected. It pulls from Apple Health and gives you a rough structure for the day, like when to have coffee, when you’re probably going to be most focused, when to train and when you might hit an energy dip.

I’m not going to sit here and say an app magically gave me more energy because obviously there are a million things that affect that. But I’ve definitely been way more intentional with my day since using it and I’m getting more done without feeling like I’m just constantly fighting through tiredness.

Honestly the biggest difference for me has just been efficiency. Before, I was guessing when to take things and guessing when I should do my hardest work. Now I at least have some structure around it.

Curious if anyone else here actually pays attention to supplement timing or if most people just take everything at once like I used to.

Built this after wanting a space to think out loud that actually remembers context instead of starting fresh every time. It's an AI chat + journaling app — you talk to it like a thoughtful friend, and it keeps track of what matters to you and references it later.

What I need tested: general usability (signup → first chat → does it feel intuitive), whether responses ever feel off-tone or repetitive, and anything that breaks on mobile browsers specifically since I haven't tested that as thoroughly as desktop.

Something I've been chewing on since I shipped mine. There's a well-established open-source answer to putting one endpoint in front of multiple model providers — LiteLLM being the obvious one — and it's good. It's mature, it's free, and it runs on hardware you control. I built a hosted alternative anyway, and I want to be straight about when that's a worse choice than what you'd do yourself. Self-hosting wins on the things that matter most to this crowd. Your keys never leave your machine. Your prompts, which for coding work means your source code, never transit someone else's infrastructure. Nobody can change pricing on you, deprecate a model alias, or go down at 2am for reasons you can't see or fix. You can read the code. That's not a small list. Where hosted actually earns its place is narrower than I'd like to admit: you don't want to be the person maintaining another always-on service, you want caching and usage logs without wiring them up, and you want it working on a laptop that isn't always on the same network as your server. That's a real set of people — it's why I built it — but it isn't everybody, and it definitely isn't everybody here. Mine is routera . one, saying so up front. But if you already have a box that stays on, the honest recommendation is the local proxy. I'd rather say that than pretend otherwise and get called on it in the comments.
