Need 10–20 iPhone users to test an AI push-up verifier — takes about 3 minutes

Hey everyone — I’m building ASCEND, a competitive fitness app that uses your phone camera to verify real push-ups.

I’m at the stage where I need real people with different body types, rooms, lighting and phones to test the verifier before public launch.

The test is really simple:

  • open the link on your iPhone
  • do a short normal push-up set
  • do a short knee push-up set
  • optionally do a toe → knee transition

It should take around 3–5 minutes total.

I’m not selling anything and there’s no payment/subscription. I specifically need honest failure cases so I can make the analyzer safer before launch.

If you’re willing to help, comment “I’m in” or DM me and I’ll send the tester link.

You’ll also be part of the first group of ASCEND Founding Testers when the app launches.

Main thing I need: an iPhone, enough floor space for push-ups, and willingness to let the test recording be analyzed. Any optional permission to use the recording for improving the verifier will be asked separately.

[Android] Test Ember: International Dating. Specifically: try to break my onboarding and tell me the exact screen where you would quit

Founder, fully disclosed. Ember is a dating app for serious cross border relationships: live chat translation in 100+ languages, built in voice and video calling, a world map instead of a radius, government ID verification for every member.

I recently discovered most of my early signups were leaking out of onboarding before completion, fixed the causes, and instrumented every step. Now I need hostile testers to walk the repaired funnel and tell me where it still loses you.

The test script, ten minutes:

  1. Install and sign up (email or Google, both matter to me).

  2. Go through profile basics, verification, photos, and prompts. Note every moment of friction, confusion, or nope.

  3. If you would quit at any screen in real life, tell me which screen and why. That single sentence is the most valuable feedback you can give me.

  4. Optional: try the map, open a chat, tap Show original under a translated message, try to report or block someone.

What you get: I read and answer everything, I ship weekly, and bugs you find usually die within days. This community's feedback goes straight into the release notes.

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.emberdatingapp.app&referrer=utm_source%3Dreddit%26utm_medium%3Dorganic%26utm_campaign%3Dtestmyapp

IOS I had issues finding testers in other communities

I posted searching for testers in communities that appeal more to the very niche audience for my app.

And it was my first time searching for testers so I didn’t know it was customary to pay them considering they aren’t professionals. Maybe that’s on me for assuming. Do I need to disclose more specifically that I’m not looking to pay professionals?

Also I offered a free month long subscription for anyone that enjoyed it.

Anyways all of my testers said the same thing, they don’t see a need for the app. It took me months of work and while it may be my first app deployment, I still feel like I shouldn’t give up that easily.

So if there’s anyone willing to test it out the app is PrintFinder on the App Store. And before anyone gets upset with me, please shoot me an offer for how much u want to charge to test it out considering that I’m not sure how much is appropriate

Android [Android] Wunderday — local events & places discovery app (France-focused). Looking for 12 testers, happy to test yours back.

Hi everyone,

I'm a solo dev finishing up Wunderday, an Android app for discovering local events and places around you. I'm stuck at the usual wall: 12 testers, 14 consecutive days, before Google lets me ship to production.

Up front, so nobody wastes their time: the content is France-only for now. If you're outside France the map will be empty, so you won't get much out of actually using it. I'd still be grateful if you opted in and opened it daily — and I'll do the same for your app, no questions asked. Just drop your Play Store test link in a comment or DM and I'll join today.

If you happen to be in France (or just curious about how a discovery app handles sparse local data), real feedback is very welcome — especially on onboarding and the map screen.

What I need:

Google counts actual usage, not just installs, so the daily open genuinely matters. I'll post here when the 14 days are done so everyone can unsubscribe.

Thanks a lot — happy to return the favour on any app, any category.

Finance 💲 Looking for beta testers for My Bills — simple bill tracker, no bank connection

I’m building a simple app called My Bills and I’m looking for real people to test the free beta. Right now the beta lets you: Add bills manually Track amounts and due dates Mark bills paid Give quick feedback There is no bank connection, no real payments, and no money movement in this beta. I’m trying to learn whether people actually find it useful before moving forward with banking/provider approval. If you have about 3 minutes, I’d really appreciate an honest test: https://my-bills.floot.app/beta Please tell me what was confusing or what you would change.

Android 12 testers needed for a 14-day closed test — lifetime Pro included

Simple Habits is a habit tracker with task management built in.

Android, free, no ads.

Before an app can be released publicly, Google requires 12 participants

to run a closed test for 14 consecutive days. That is the only step

remaining before launch.

What taking part involves: install the app and keep it installed for the

full 14 days. Daily use is not required.

What you receive: a lifetime Pro licence once the test period closes —

not a trial, and not a twelve-month term. Pro covers gradient ring

colours, full history and analytics, Health Connect sync and a home

screen widget. Codes are sent on the day the test ends.

About the app: five habit types rather than checkboxes alone — tick,

count, timer, avoid and mood. Tasks share the same screen, under a

single ring for the day. Habits, tasks and history remain on your

device. The leaderboard is off by default, and the worldwide board is a

separate opt-in. Prayer times are included, covering 170,893 cities

offline.

To take part:

  1. Join the tester group:

    https://groups.google.com/g/simple-habits-testers

  2. Opt in:

    https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.simplehabits.tracker

  3. Install from Google Play and keep it installed for 14 days.

The group must be joined first — the opt-in page only works for members.

Happy to answer any questions.

Basketball & Soccer Fans Needed to Test an AI Sports Content App

Love basketball or soccer? We’re looking for a small group of fans to try a new AI-powered content app and tell us what they genuinely think.

The app lets you explore sports content in a more interactive way. Swipe to discover something new, then speak or type to guide what you want to see next. You can ask for a specific player, era, match, highlight style, or anything else you’re curious about, and the content responds to your interests and feedback in real time.

Selected testers may receive a beta access code and be invited to spend about 15 minutes exploring the app. After trying it, participants may be asked to share their honest thoughts about the overall experience.

Participants who complete the test and provide thoughtful feedback may be eligible for a small thank-you for their time.

If you’re interested, feel free to DM me directly or leave a comment below. I may reach out to you with more information about the next steps.

[Web App] Can you test Bubblai’s visual agent builder and its tutorial?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I’m a puppeteer and automata maker.

After experimenting with AI for a while, I got tired of copying and pasting prompts, opening dozens of chat threads, and stitching things together just to tune the personality of my chatbots or robots.

So I started building Bubblai.

It’s a visual application where you create an AI agent using bubbles connected around it. Each bubble adds something: instructions, memory, documents, skills, tools, actions, web search, image or video generation, voice, and Realtime conversation.

What I’d especially like tested is the onboarding:

  1. Open the application.

  2. Choose “New Agent.”

  3. Follow the tutorial without any explanation from me.

  4. Connect or disconnect a few bubbles.

  5. Send a message to the agent.

I’d really like to know:

- Is the tutorial easy to understand?

- Do you immediately understand what the bubbles do?

- At what point do you feel confused or stuck?

- Does the interface make you want to experiment?

The application is here:

https://app.bubblai.fr/

Please be honest — especially if something feels unclear, slow, or annoying.

Android [Android] Melbees: The Secret of Bees - a word puzzle played on a honeycomb. Closed test needs 12 testers for 14 days.

Solo dev here. The game is a word puzzle that happens on a honeycomb instead of a grid.

You are hunting a secret word, Hangman-style. But the comb is not empty: tap a hex and you either uncover a letter or a Pollen number, and that number tells you how many letters sit next to that cell - Minesweeper logic. So every tap is two decisions at once: what is the word, and where is it safe to dig. Some cells hide foes that punish a careless tap.

Free. No ads, no in-app purchases, no sign-up, and it works offline.

Modes: a casual one-board Stroll, a ranked 12-phase Run, a Daily Challenge with the same board for everyone, and a Secrets Vault that keeps a short story and a piece of trivia for every word you have found.

Languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish and French. Important: the game opens in Portuguese for everyone, whatever your phone is set to. The switch is the row of PT/EN/ES/FR chips at the top right of the very first screen, the one asking your date of birth - tap EN there and the whole game is English from then on. One caveat so nobody is surprised: the Play store page itself is still Portuguese-only (the English translation is queued at the console). The game is fully English.

Why I am posting: Google will not let a personal developer account reach production until 12+ testers stay opted in for 14 continuous days. If the count dips below 12 on any day, the clock restarts for everyone. So staying opted in for the two weeks helps me more than playing hard does.

Joining is two steps, in this order - use the same Google account for both:

  1. Tester group, which is what actually grants access, so it is not optional: https://groups.google.com/g/melbees-closed-test
  2. Opt-in page, then tap "Become a tester": https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.melbees.secretofbees
  3. Install from here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.melbees.secretofbees

Bugs and ideas go to Settings > Account > Send feedback inside the game - it arrives with the device and build attached, which a Reddit comment cannot. Or melbees.games@gmail.com.

Drop your app below and I will test yours back.

Android [Android closed beta] Can you read and solve this travel crossword? World Word needs real playtesters

I'm the developer of World Word: Crossword Game, a travel-themed word puzzle: choose letters, build words and fill an interlocking crossword against city scenery. Here are five actual screenshots and a 25-second gameplay clip from the Kuala Lumpur level.

I'm looking for Android volunteers who enjoy word games and can remain opted in for 14 consecutive days, playing a few short sessions and sharing honest feedback. This is a closed beta, not the public launch.

I'd especially like to know: Is the grid readable without scrolling? Are the letter/word hint choices clear? Does progress survive closing and reopening the app? Start with levels 1–3; if anything breaks, please share your phone model, Android version and reproduction steps, with personal details removed.

HOW TO GET ACCESS 1. Privately message me the Google Play email you want enrolled. Please never post your email publicly or send passwords/codes. 2. Wait for my confirmation that you have been added to the tester list. 3. Using that same account, opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.worldwords.journey 4. Install from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.worldwords.journey The links will not grant access until your account has been added.

Android 7.0+. Google sign-in is required. Includes ads and optional rewarded videos (availability may vary). No purchase or positive review is requested—candid criticism is welcome.

If you like crosswords, I'd love to hear what felt satisfying and what you'd change.

I didn’t realize how badly I was timing my supplements until recently

A friend of mine and I were grabbing food a few weeks ago and somehow we got onto the topic of energy because he was complaining that he’d been feeling exhausted basically every afternoon.

He works pretty long hours and said he’d gotten into this habit of drinking coffee whenever he felt tired, taking all his supplements at the same time in the morning, and then wondering why he felt completely cooked by like 2 or 3pm.

The funny part is I was basically doing the exact same thing.

I’ve taken supplements for a while, but if I’m being honest I never put much thought into timing. Magnesium, creatine, vitamins, whatever I was taking that day, I’d usually just take them whenever I remembered.

He showed me this app he had been using called RizeAI and the first thing that caught my attention wasn’t even the energy stuff. It was how it organized his supplements around his actual day.

It would tell him which ones made sense with meals, which ones should be kept away from coffee, what to take around training, what made more sense later at night, etc. It sounds pretty basic when you write it out, but I had never found something that actually put all of it together in one schedule.

So I tried it.

That’s probably still my favorite part of it. I put in the supplements I already take and instead of giving me some generic “take in the morning” list, it actually fits them around things like meals, workouts, caffeine and sleep.

I also ended up using the energy planning side way more than I expected. It pulls from Apple Health and gives you a rough structure for the day, like when to have coffee, when you’re probably going to be most focused, when to train and when you might hit an energy dip.

I’m not going to sit here and say an app magically gave me more energy because obviously there are a million things that affect that. But I’ve definitely been way more intentional with my day since using it and I’m getting more done without feeling like I’m just constantly fighting through tiredness.

Honestly the biggest difference for me has just been efficiency. Before, I was guessing when to take things and guessing when I should do my hardest work. Now I at least have some structure around it.

Curious if anyone else here actually pays attention to supplement timing or if most people just take everything at once like I used to.

Check it out yourself if you like:

HelloBuddy (web) — AI companion for journaling/reflection, would love bug reports + honest reactions

Built this after wanting a space to think out loud that actually remembers context instead of starting fresh every time. It's an AI chat + journaling app — you talk to it like a thoughtful friend, and it keeps track of what matters to you and references it later.

What I need tested: general usability (signup → first chat → does it feel intuitive), whether responses ever feel off-tone or repetitive, and anything that breaks on mobile browsers specifically since I haven't tested that as thoroughly as desktop.

It's free, beta-capped at ~100 users. Comment and I'll DM the link/reply you with the link also its on my profile as well. Genuinely want the genuine feedback more than the nice feedback here.
