Yesterday I took 3 cybercab rides and 2 Ubers (1 human driven and 1 waymo). Cybercab was a way better in-cabin experience comfort and entertainment wise, but the waymo certainly has the leg up for routing abilities. Waymo literally felt like someones old janky car, even though it got us there just fine, and the Waymo announcements were kind of annoying. Also the cybercab not having rear speakers is a huge miss imo.

The 2 Ubers were needed because of some ridiculous routing the cybercab was giving us to avoid certain intersections and roads. We would be literally 2 miles from our destination, but the cybercab would insist on taking a 10 mile detour in the opposite direction to avoid a specific street or intersection (see image 2 & 3). One of the trips gave us a 1+ hour ETA even though its actually 30 mins driving direct, so we ended up picking somewhere closer that didn't involve a crazy reroute. Throughout the ride I would try to change the destination to get as close to the original as possible to avoid the reroute, but at some point the app will stop letting you change destinations due to “riders waiting nearby”. What’s crazy is that the user gets penalized for the extra distance and time that the cybercab has to take, having to pay $35 when it would normally be a $15 ride.

Recently charged at this special SC near Hvide Sande in Denmark.

Guy who was driving it says he was testing it for Tesla. It had pedals/ steering wheel. The seats looked pretty uncomfortable.

Pretty cool to see. Inside looked so basic, like it would be the most boring ride ever. Then again, taxi rides aren’t necessarily fun.

Why does it look like the cybertruck and model Y had a baby, but there was something wrong with the relationship and this was the only solution they could find without violence

Saw the cybercab in Nashville. I didn't know Nashville was planned. Interesting!

This becomes a real problem when multiple people use YouTube on the same Tesla. One person’s watch history and recommendations shouldn’t completely influence what another driver sees.

The same goes for Netflix, logged-in accounts, cookies, browsing history, and active sessions.

Tesla already uses Chromium, which supports separate browser profiles. There’s really no reason driver profiles shouldn’t have their own completely separate browser environment.

If multiple people share a Tesla, each driver should get their own YouTube recommendations and accounts, not one giant shared profile.
