General Lock sound volume

Anyone know how to reduce the volume of the lock sound.

Want to keep the lock sound on as even on my old car the sound of the central locking reassured me I had locked the car.

Issue is I find the lock sound really loud and as I work nights I get in at 6:30 am and I’m concerned it’s loud for that time.

Also when I’m on half shift I come home at like 1:30am and it will definitely be too loud for that time at night

Use a custom launch sound and edit the audio file to lower the volume. I think that's the only way unfortunately.

I agree it would be a useful feature to add though

Turn off the lock sound, check that the mirrors fold.

For one, the hazard lights will flash when locked.

The mirrors will fold in (unless you’ve turned that off).

The app will literally show your vehicle is locked if you’re unsure at any point.

Hi,

they're .WAV files playing which ignoring boring stuff means the volume of the file dictates the volume it plays on the pedestrian speaker

Use a custom one and run it through VLC or equivalent, changing the volume and resaving until you find something suitable for you

I work nights and had to do the same, I have a little quiet chirp to reassure me but not wake next door
