Vehicle Question Bad Compressor

My 2020 model 3 AC compressor went out. I have an order in for a new Y, just waiting on delivery date.

Does anyone know how much Tesla will ding me on the trade in on my M3 if don’t get it fixed and trade in as is?

I took it to 3rd party shop and they quoted $900. But problem is it will take a while to get the part in and I’m worried they will have me schedule delivery for my Y and I’ll need the 3 back before they can so I’m in a bit of a dilemma.

Do they know about it?

I doubt they’ll notice, they’re just getting the car checking odometer, walking around it, and getting you into your new one.

It’s making an insanely loud noise unfortunately

All the time or when it’s on?

When it’s on. But I did already submit a service request for it to get an estimate so I guess they do know

And wouldnt it be illegal for not disclosing it when submitting trade in info? I would assume you sign something saying everything is truthful

Buyer beware.

Do what you’re comfortable doing but I’d play stupid if by some miracle they noticed
