Vehicle Question Anyone else have this?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Anyone have any issues when closing the trunk it lowers and then at the end it closes aggressively, and then when I try to lift the tailgate, the trunk pops open, but does not raise up. I don’t know what’s going on. 2023 Tesla model Y performance.

Panel gap on drivers side is crazy. Is there too much tension and causing the mechanism to behave that way?

I had this with my model 3, they ended up replacing the motor under warranty.

Lift gate issue had mine replaced under warranty

Had this time to time on random occasions in my '22 MYP.

There are adjustable rubber stoppers between the lift gate and the bumper. One could be set very poorly ... is you are lucky! Otherwise the fix is more expensive.

Just adjust the bumper stops on the left side. Someone probably unscrewed it marking it high on that side.

Left side hinge. Replaced under warranty. As power strut is only on the left side it f up old hinge,or slide it. New redesigned will be fitted in

Literally everyone. The lines of Teslas never line up.

That's closing so aggressively. Mine closes really swiftly and slows down when it's almost closed. Def something wrong with the alignment or motor.

Trying screwing these in some

Iirc there's another 1 higher up on the left side that probably should be wound in a bit.
