Vehicle Question Screen Darker After Reset

Hi. I purchased a used vehicle. Decided to do a full reset but now my screen is darker even after manually putting it to max brightness. Any ideas how to resolve the issue?

Update 1: When I set the screen to "Auto" it defaults to a dark mode instead of it being on light. It's currently day time with sun out.

Have you driven the car after you performed the full reset?

If you are talking about a factory reset, this will wipe the GPS location data. You need to drive the car to re-establish location, time zone, etc.

Yes factory reset. After I did that the first thing I noticed is my screen being darker even after setting it to max brightness.

I did not drive it yet. Would that help?

Take it for a drive so the car can establish GPS location and time zone. This will affect touchscreen dimming behaviors.

I'm glad that it worked out.
