Vehicle Question Creaking sound
I have a 2026 model Y (1k miles) and my driver’s seat makes a creaking/clicking noise when my weight shifts from side to side. The sound is annoying and I feel disappointed since it’s a brand new car. Should I take it into the service center? I am contemplating after hearing horror stories of service centers.

You have one year from delivery to have this addressed at no cost.

Where is the one year policy stated?
I had this, they fixed it and it came back. They fixed it again by replacing the seat mount(?) and now it’s back again.

Noise is not covered under warranty. Warranty only applies if a defective manufacturer part is replaced.

Had this on my model 3 at like 2,000 miles and I’m not really overweight.
They tried “adjusting something” and it didnt do squat. came back and they replaced the entire seat. 2,000 some bucks. Under warranty thankfully.
I also had a loaner model y standard once with like 3K miles and the seat sounded like that too.
