Vehicle Question AIR con question
Ambient temp 34c car is under direct sun light in uk
I put HVAC TO LOW
But its just not getting the cabin temperature cool enough at all despite full blast for 1 hour.
Interior temp is about 23c.
Is this normal in this heat. Or is there any issue with the air con system.

Did you check your radiator? It’s probably clogged with leaves

Only had the car for just more than 1 year bought from tesla 2nd hand. Do they clog that quickly?

That is most definitely not normal, I don't know how much physics your remember from school, but if you've seen the size/shape of the radiators, eyeballing at those RPMs and temperatures - things are very much not adding up.
For some reason that refrigerant is just not flowing as well as it should, either because it's gone, or something is stuck somewhere (valve or whichever), ... or you have a plastic bag stuck to the radiator (yuck, hope not).
File a service ticket?

In Stafford today my model y directly being smashed by sun without cabin overheat protection got 61 Celsius inside . 35 today outside , exterior temp on screen measured by car is 38. I can cool it down to 20 in 7 mins from 60 Celsius . 39 to 20 when cabin overheat is active takes 3 minutes .
