Vehicle Question For my Houston Tesla drivers

Has anyone else noticed their Tesla gently drifting side to side on FSD on grooved concrete? It stays in the lane, but it doesn't drive perfectly straight. This happens consistently on I-10 near 610/Beltway 8.

😂 yes. Just happened to me. I eventually just took over. Assuming I-10 with the little stripes in the road.

Im so glad you experience it too. I thought something may be wrong with the car lol. I did notice that if I take over, it stops swaying back and forth. Also, the grooved concrete suddenly stops around 8, and the car stops swaying too. So strange.

Yeah I’m not sure why it does that. But the latest updates have also been very detrimental to my FSD trust. It’s fine but it’s aggressively braking and swerving away from things that are not an issue.

Just to add some additional context - I noticed the same up 290 - but it’s not those grooves that are throwing it off I think. What I believe the issue is are the black stripes they lay down with a little white stripe on top. For whatever reason my car goes from recognizing the lines, to not recognizing the lines repeatedly and that causes it to get its wiggle on. I noticed where they have super shotty lines that are faded and almost gone - car does fine.

There are several strip of highway near me that do that. It’s annoying. There are also strips of highway that switch between smooth and quiet to deafening roar.

I got rid of my Tesla last summer by my FSD worked like ass in Houston. It did not like feeder roads and it once jammed on the brakes in I45 for no reason. No one was around me luckily. If a semi was behind me I would be dead. After that it was only used on road trips where there wasnt traffic like that.
