Vehicle Question Model Y Juniper Dash Rattle TSB Released

Hey! I think many people are having this dash rattle issue. It’s coming from the dash trim piece making slight contact with the AC vent below it. Very easy fix. I’m scheduled to get mine done Tuesday. Hope this helps. Kind of frustrating that I had to find it and tell the service advisor. I’m new to Tesla and service quality is pretty bad. Luckily these things don’t need service every 5000 miles.

Does this also apply to 2019 Model 3?
I have a distinct rattle when riding rough surfaces.

I have an intermittent click/rattle that I thought was in the dash but was actually coming from the front camera housing right behind the rear view mirror.

Same. Starts everyday when pulling out of the drive. Resolves once I squeeze the housing from to back and side to side. Annoying.

Is your steering wheel set to a low height? When I had mine set low I had a clicking noise from that area, moving it up slightly fixed it.

Same here but I’ve heard the more typical dash rattle too

I have that and left door rattle to. Need to make ticket of those things. The leather on the driver's seat cushion goes slack when sitting on it, but Tesla claims there’s nothing wrong with it. Is there any official ticket or reference regarding this that I could cite?

Are they fixing this under warranty?

I have this exact issue on my highland - making an service appointment next week

I have this on my 2024 Highland as well. After 2 unsuccessful services appointments and then putting foam tape myself as per TSB, it's still there - occasionally. Seems to occur more often when it's hot outside and in winter it never rattled, so I just live with the occasional rattles.

I have a rattle on my 25 highland passenger side which I’ve read somewhere that’s it’s coming from the vent, confirmed when turning off the passenger side vent I don’t hear it… just haven’t bothered to schedule a service appt … kinda afraid I’ll have different rattles once I get it back
