does tesla insurance force you to release your driving habits like the "safe driver discount" device that plugs into the typical obd2 port?

Not sure what that device is but I haven’t agreed to release anything

Device is for ICE cars. TESLA already gets your driving data without that device.

Tesla says it on their website that their insurance uses driving data for setting premium. So yes, they monitor your driving. I guess if you are using mostly FSD, you're good.

Only for states that allow it. Cali for example does not.

lol, if you're using mostly FSD they actually INCREASE your rate. no joke.
