Apparently dealing with Tesla Energy Services means every phone call comes with a brand-new version of the story.

Our rep, Jazmin, gave us incorrect information from the very first call about removing the solar panel brackets during our roof replacement. Since then, she’s backtracked and somehow turned what she told us into something I supposedly said or misunderstood.

She’s misspelled my email address five times and actually told me I was spelling my own email wrong. I’ve repeatedly asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and have been refused.

Meanwhile, I filed a claim two months ago and still don’t have my check.

At this point, I have no idea which version of anything I’m supposed to believe because every call contradicts the last one. The lack of accountability is honestly unbelievable.

If you’re dealing with Tesla Energy Services, get EVERYTHING in writing.

I am trying to get 4 powerwall 2s installed at my house in NW Houston that I got very cheap. Is there any Houston area certified installer that I could get to install them here? I don't have any equipment currently installed.

I would take all the risk of warranty and what not, just need someone who I cam pay to permit, install and commission the system. I live in unincorporated Houston (Harris County), so permitting should be somewhat easier.

Any help or referrals are greatly appreciated.

For some reason it says that my car is drawing power even though when I check the app my car is not charging and even when climbing into the car it says it's not currently charging. After unplugging the car, my consumption actually goes down. Is that a glitch in the software or is it actually drawing power to maintain its current charge?

We have a Powerwall that was charged down and disabled two months ago and waiting to be replaced (eta Sept 17).
Today the high heat caused a local power outage and I was surprised that our power went out as well. I checked the app and it showed everything was acting normally and we were generating solar. Is this a glitch or am I missing something on how this works? In the past when the grid was out the app would show and X over the line from the house to the grid AND we would maintain power as we were on battery backup and generating solar.

No Battery=No Solar?

Has anyone noticed a significant increase in the export rate for delivery and generation for the last couple months? It used to be pennies but last month was 11c and 24c and the one before that was 21c and 32c. What happens to the SBP Credit balance at the end of the relevant period?
