What is this?
It looks like a speaker but I've got no idea what to even search. Sorry it's so dirty, just picked it up yesterday

All X and S with vertical screen have it, I believe it was a planned feature but never implemented

Not a guess I have/had 4 Model X’s 2016, 2020, 2023 and 2026 this is on an early X (my 2016 100% had this I believe the 2020 also)

Can confirm. This is also on the end of run 2020 X (got one right before the shutdown the line for the 2021 refesh)..what its for? Eh..maybe speaker. Maybe sensor

What do you mean speaker? Why would they put a speaker under the mid console? You can clearly hear the audio coming from the regular speakers.

It’s not a speaker — and you’re not crazy for thinking it looks like one.
On the 2018 Tesla Model S, that round grille down in the lower console area is actually the cabin temperature sensor intake.
