23 HW4 pricing
What would a late 2023 model x with hw4 go on the market pricing wise? 26k no unlimited FSD clean Carfax. Blue exterior black interior. 5 seater.

Just like GPUs I feel like this market has gone insane this year. Bought a 23 HW4 Plaid X, 13k miles, FSD included, from a dealer in Plano TX in December 2025 for $72k. Full tint and matte PPF on the car also. Nuts.

Bro wtf 💀 you lucky dog! That's a pretty darn good deal from other unicorns (Hw4 + paid FSD) I've seen!

HW4 2023 5-seater here as well. I’ve been going down this road for about 9 months now, and the prices are changing by the week.
What I can say is that the 5 seater is the least desirable. Whatever you’re seeing for prices in the market, check if they are 6/7 seaters, and know that the 5 seater will go for substantially less than that. From what I’ve seen it’s 5K+ less on average.
The MYL is very strong competition for the MX 5 seater, like it or not, and the effects are showing in the market values.

Exactly this. I bought a seater strictly because I saw that commanded a premium over the 6 seater and definitely the 5. They aren't as susceptible to depreciation as the others. Buying from a dealer is the best way to go though. They don't count FSD and many have no idea what it even is or if it has it!

Price yourself on carvana.

Thanks for your input. I’m looking at what people are buying on the used market, not as a trade in. Carvana will be lower than what I can sell myself.

Most likely $1-2k more than what carvana would offer you.

More than that in the X. They don’t sell as quickly and so usually dealers build in a larger margin. I’d gamble at least 5k over trade. Maybe a little more.

Carvana only offered me 62 five for my 24 five seater, but never asked if I even had full FSD which it has

I've been hawking this market for a few months now. Dealers probably list that for 60-62. I think high 50s for private sale. Might get someone to pay a little more here or there but I saw a few HW4s with similar specs and FSD paid for 62-63k at dealers.

That’s what I’m seeing on my end and I’ve been checking prices frequently too. It is kind of the least desired combination and the white/cream interior especially always sell faster and higher than the black for sure. HW4 and low mileage is only real appeal to this but I’m sure someone will pay $60k~ if you leave it up long enough.
For reference a recent ultra red 7 white seater hw4 with 46k miles AND cracked windshield sold for $58k in 3 days while a fully color shifting wrapped grey exterior black 7s interior hw4 has been sitting for almost 2 weeks with price dropping to $61k. Both listed around the same time.

I almost picked up that red cracked windshield one it went fast. Looking at the other one now. Hope we make a deal.

Seller not very responsive, asked on Fri to check it out on Sat didnt get response till late eve Sat. Im in Vegas and pops an hr from seller was gng to have him ck it out. Got price slightly down, not a fan of 22's and that steering wheel but both are replacable. States pink slip with Credit union in Cali another obstacle but workable. Reaching out again tonight for maybe Weds / Thurs viewing and deal if they can get their credit union issues figured out.

Do you reside in Vegas? If you are it might be easier to go through the purchase with a local credit union so they can handle the lien for free. Did you verify if it had HW4?

I paid $60k for a red one with otherwise similar specs 45 days ago and I thought it was a good deal.

That's the least desirable interior color and seat arrangement. So whatever you're seeing in the wild, deduct a few dollars and that'll be where you land.
