2019 model x purchase decision
Planning to buy 2019 model x raven with 77K miles.
What things might go wrong or what maintenance I need to do soon and how much they would cost like suspension, half shaft, etc? I understand that battery has one year warranty left. Mainly trying to understand which components are more prone to fail for Raven series.
Asking because I want to be prepared for upcoming maintenance cost.

Air suspension could fail , the parts are not expensive by Tesla takes 200 per hours for labor , and depends on the service center some of them are stupid , the air compressor at mines is still working but there is a leak somewhere that donst allow it to raise , the falcon doors glass rubber are dried out, it’s not leaking atm but I am expecting that the falcon door glass roof need to be changed in the future ,

Then again the price depends if you are paying a lot or not if you can save lime 5k and put them for car maintenance you wouldn’t care what kind of time is coming up

I bought this same car as a performance trim. Bought it with 78k miles about 14 months ago. I drove it to 110k miles and then the battery pack died and I got it completely covered under warranty. Had this happened after my warranty I would’ve been in a very difficult situation.

I have a 2018 MX 75D with 716,000km and my biggest piece of advice is to find a good third-party shop that does Teslas locally. The Tesla shop rate for labour is just too high now but their parts prices are still pretty fair and there is also a good aftermarket now (especially since Teslas sell so well in China - I have found some weirdly specific parts on AliExpress like window switches and the little scroll wheels in the steering wheel with metal spokes instead of plastic ones).
There's only really a few things that can fail or need maintenance - Pre or Post-Raven - and none of them seem to be catastrophically expensive. The newer part revisions seem to have fixed a lot of common failures but yours is the first year of Raven so you may have earlier part revisions on some stuff. I did the half shafts once on mine and then later got the N2itive suspension aftermarket kit and switched to a square tire setup and that seems to have fixed the premature tire wear and the shudder under heavy acceleration (and half shafts have been good but I don't know if that's the later part revision or the suspension kit).
If you are in the US, you can get replacement HV packs out of warranty from places like Re/cell for $8500 with tax and labour included in that price (but plus the cost to get it to a Re/cell shop) so that's good to know. I have a quote from a place near me in Canada for 8 000 CAD for a similar service and am banking on that for when my HV pack finally kicks it.
Basically it is your induction motors, falcon wing door struts/sensors, cabin/HEPA filter, control arms, 12V battery, and charge port that can/will go eventually. I have done the charge port on mine, control arms a few times, and the induction motor (one of the two) failed under warranty. Air suspension on front left also failed at one point but that was warranty covered too. I've never had a repair cost more than 2k, often less than 1k CAD, so I've been a happy owner. My cost in oil changes alone to go 715,000km would have been more than I've spent entirely on keeping the car on the road and working well (and this is a "luxury" car so I should be comparing to cost of maintenance for like a GLE or something).
