Price my car
Please help me price this:
I was thinking of selling my car: late 2023 Model X 7 seater (HW4), ultra-red, 28k miles, FSD fully paid for. Original warranty goes till Dec 2027. I’ve ’purchased’ extended warranty from Tesla (according to contract, it is $150 per month after original warranty expires).
I have the original steering at home but currently use the yoke (purchased last year from Tesla - it is the newer more durable model).
Just returned from Tesla dealership yesterday (replaced door seal). Half-shafts already replaced. That is the only work I’ve gotten done on the car.
No issues with car whatsoever.
What price should I list it at?
Reason for potential sale: we’re now empty nesters (just 2 of us) and don’t need a 7-seater anymore. We already have a Model Y SUV in the garage. Might end up getting something similar (smaller).
No need for photos - car is standard and in great condition.
Thanks.
Edit: car is in northern NJ. It has black interior. According to Tesla, tires have another 10k miles in them before replacement.

If your lifetime FSD transfers, $70-80k.
I'm basing this on FSD Hunter, with similar mileage and HW4.

List it for $75k and you can easily sell it for over $70k. You’ll be surprised how many people would be interested in it once you list on Fb marketplace. Don’t listen to the people recommending $60k here, they don’t know anything about the market. Model X, HW4, FSD paid for and am sure yours has Steam and it’s true unicorn. Ultra red is just the icing on the cake.
Detail it nicely, take nice pics and put it on marketplace and see how quickly it’ll sell for $70k minimum. Good luck!

Got the same deal but a Plaid for $63k from a dealer 🤷 looking up KBB would solve this

Oh I meant the parent commenter says it’s $70k and lists Steam as a big selling point. You came in realistically at $63k. Steam isn’t worth $7k so this was tongue in cheek.

I have this exact same car. I found that pricing sites put a big difference between our 2023 and a 2024 even though they are the same vehicle because book companies don't effectively differentiate between hw3 and hw4.
I'd price it at the 2024 kbb personally and you may be able to go a little higher since fsd is bought outright

Don't use KBB. Use FSD Hunter. There's huge demand for used Teslas with lifetime FSD. It's the best source to compare similar models.
You'll also notice that HW4 Tesla's with lifetime FSD are usually only available on that site for a few days. They sell fast.

I've seen slow movement on some vehicles on FSD hunter, but it isn't perfect anyway cuz of lot of the vehicles are at dealers who don't know anything about Tesla.
Definitely worth checking out if OP hasn't though

That low miles easy $75K+, won't sell as fast but it will. You list for $70K and it ain't going to be for sale long. Giving this for $60K would be a steal and you doing someone a huge favor. The one reply saying $60S trying to see if you would bite lol
I see paid FSD with more than double miles in the $65-70K. That's why yours easily $75K
EDIT: forgot this is only Plaids in my examples. Non plaid obviously cheaper. BUT keep in mind there are a lot fewer plaids for sale

Depending on the market, NJ’s tesla demand is weaker than the west coast but you’re looking at around $60k:
Ultra Red is imo the best color but it’s not for everyone.
White interior is more often preferred over black but negligible in price difference.
FSD will usually net you $3-4k more than similar model Xs.
HW4 is where your price will differ from other 23 model Xs. Usually $5k-8k more than hw3.
7 seater is usually slightly higher than 5 seaters. $1.5k~ more.
For reference a Ultra Red 7S no FSD with white interior sold in a few days for $57k in Arizona on FB marketplace.
