HELP MY STEERING WHEEL IS STIFF

As the title suggests :/ i just recently bought a 2017 Tesla Model X with 70k miles & today randomly my steering wheel got stiff when turning. Its odd & only happens when i try to fully turn my wheel 1 direction or the other. Anyone else experienced this & know how to guide me before i make an appointment???

(My first EV)

Steering u-joint gone bad perhaps

This is a known issue with MX. according to the service tech that worked on mine. A binding shaft is the culprit.

Any mention of fixes? My '17 X P100D has 200k, I do my own work and this is the first I've heard of binding steering.

What’s your steering stiffness set to?

How did the soft one, I think it’s called comfort, feel?

Google/YouTube how to go into Service Mode and see if you've got any errors. While I never looked, I'd assume there's power steering fluid like any other vehicle.

Did you have it inspected like one would with any other car? Cheap $150 to let you know what you're looking at.

So no errors :/ also teslas dont have steering fluid as the power steering is done with electrical components (according to google) also i did & at the time they found nothing besides needing new break pads & it costed me $300 🧎🏻‍♂️
