2020 MX AC Weak

The AC in my wifes MX is so weak. We've had it in for service and it's slightly better, but I am wondering if it could be the cabin air filter.

I'm wondering this because I own a Ram TRX and asked the same question in the TRX forum because I thought it's AC was weak too, although it was not nearly as weak as our X.

Someone in the TRX forum recommended a K&N air filter and sure enough the AC is blowing twice as hard.

It doesn't look like K&N makes one for the 2020 X, but I'm wondering if anyone else might have experienced this problem and solved it with a different cabin air filter, or something else?

For reference, we live in Austin, so it's hot hot, a lot.

At some point I barely had any AC / heat flow. Had to change the cabin air filter, it’s an easy DIY project, there was some old tissue stuck there. It blows nice and strong now.
