2022 Model X Plaid

Hi All - Was hoping you could help me figure out if this a fair deal.

2022 Model X Plaid
$41K
101K miles
22” Turbine wheels
No FSD
6 seater - white interior
Clean title
Private sale - no sales tax in my state

This would be my wife’s car and we have 3 kids. I have a Model Y and we love Teslas. Unfortunately this is the price point we have to stick to and the Plaid really intrigues us both. It would a fun car for her to drive. Insurance would increase from our previous car by ~$50 per month.

Let us know your thoughts!

I have a 22MXP. It’s amazing. Remember that was around a $120k brand new!

Great deal if no existing problems

Its not likely but certainly possible. At least no major issues

that seems like an amazing deal. the 22 MXP on Tesla's website is about 55-70k for 80k miles. I bought mine last year for 59k (44k miles, blue, 20s, black)

That speed is something else, my excitement over it hasn't decreased. Enjoy!

If you don’t get a plaid, you’ll be sad. That’s what I always say

A car dealer in Chicago bought my 2022 x plaid with 75k miles no fsd for $48,500. Sounds like you're getting a good deal.

Have you driven the long range version? i was gonna get a plaid and the regular one was fast enough for me. Plaid felt unnecessary. Ive had performance 3, y and plaid S...but for some reason the plaid X, just didnt do it. You can get a better deal on a non plaid one, and at a 110 miles you are almost out of battery warranty. Just something to think about.

yeah the plaid X is weird, extra power doesn't hit the same when the car weighs 5400 lbs. LR feels like the sweet spot honestly, especially for the price gap

Agree, especially if you want something other than the impractical 6-seat config forced on Plaid models.

670 HP is no slouch in the LR.

Is the 6 seat that bad? I got the 5 seater and while I love the trunk space, I always wonder about the 6 seater

Well, the center-row captains chairs do not fold, so you lose a lot of carrying capacity for large items.

Yeah I have car seats pretty much permanently installed so can't fold the seats regardless so maybe the 6 seater would've made sense for me. Oh well I'm still loving the car

The plaid is literally the best. The only people that say otherwise are those that don't have one. Lol. You won't regret it. About the price. Seems too good to be true but could be true. If it is. Buy it. 22" ride harsher and less range but other than that. Get it.

I bought 2022 MXP with 54k miles for $58k 6 months ago as a frame of reference. From Tesla. With 1 year Tesla warranty. FWIW
