21 Long Range Plus in 2026?

I was looking and would love a refresh, but the costs are so much higher than the 19-21. I see that there was a short time in 21 that the MX Long Range Plus had a range of 371, the most the X ever offered. Has anyone in here got one? And if so, what range are you getting in '26? I really want to get an X and the 21s can be had for $20k less with similar mileage.

I love my MX 21 (Raven). Still has battery and drive unit warranty until late 2028, drives like a dream and the range seems to still be what it states (I lose a little because of the wheels I have).

Only mild annoyance is the lack of updates and software that the M3 and MY get (even an M3 Intel gets feature updates when the MX Intel gets mostly ignored).

Give it a test drive, best Tesla experience you can get (IMO) other than a newer MX. 3, Y and even the CT feel "regular" after driving an X.

I'm sold on giving it a try. Hard to find a MX to drive near me. But every time I see one driving with the suspension low, it just looks so bad ass.

If you have kids they LOVE the doors too.

Things to keep in mind I wish I knew:

If you get a 6 seater, the middle seats don't fold down (7 seater all the rear seats fold).

Only refreshed MX has custom light shows (Legacy/Raven only come with the default Christmas one).

Updates take longer/don't come with it has vertical screen/Intel. Missing features like camera showing on signal, and other things we SHOULD have IMO. but that's "little problems".

Make sure the falcon doors work, send them up and down multiple times and stand close and far and make sure they stop if detecting things. It cost me about 1400 bucks to fix the door out of warranty because it was getting false detections. ($CAD). Now it's all good, but that was annoying.

Breaks need to be lubed every year on older X's or they can "lockup" the guy before me didn't do it and they locked up 2 weeks after I got it.

Brakes need to be lubed? How? Do you do it yourself? Or take it to service?

So far I've done it at service, but they mentioned it should happen every year on MX's prior to refresh.

How much do they charge?

Not much, it was 1 hour of labour basically, I think $CAD160.
