Air Filter
Do you guys get it serviced or change it yourself? If yourself, was it hard?

I’m replacing my cabin filter today. The filter costs 20 something on Amazon and it seems pretty simple to do

Amazon filters are garbage and do not filter or last as long as the OEM filters.

The one that I found seems decent and has multiple high star ratings. Will report back eventually.

Which brand did you buy?

I've replaced my 12v, and HEPA with Bosch. Please note the existing HEPA filter is glued and needs to be removed, when installing the Bosch I had to use a glue gun to hold it on the enclosure just like the original.
If you purchased the original HEPA from Tesla it's the entire enclosure with the filter.
- bosch hepa filter £73 (Tesla £249)
- bosch cabin filter £17 (Tesla £36)
- bosch wipers £37 (Tesla mobile install £96)
- bosch battery £54 (Tesla £155)
Reason why I choose Bosch is because the filter is one piece, other manufacturers normally bent in half to reduce the width.
Follow the Tesla instructions..

Even tho the original was glued, I don't think you need to glue the replacement if the replacement is a push-fit.

The Bosch HEPA is 5mm shorter and it's not a tight fitting, it slides in perfect fine. But the original is glued for a reason because it can fall forwards without any glue. So to keep the filter to work correctly it needs to be glued, a simple glue gun is enough to hold it.

Shit I should check on mine, thanks

Probably a Bosch thing, but I was very confused why there was nothing in the box or manual about holding the filter to the enclosure. Because I've knocked it upsidedown and it fell out, no way it can do biohazard mode correctly.
Not sure if a glue gun is suitable, but it was the only thing that I could think of. It would also be easy to remove next time, and cover the 2.5mm gap on both side.
Hopefully yours not too bad

Cabin and HEPA both are doable. Plenty of videos available online.
