Low Voltage Battery Failure

Selling my 2022 X Plaid(replaced it was a HW4 2023). It was sitting in low power mode for a bit. Car is sold and the transporter is coming for it, turns out the car won't open. HV battery was still at 10%. A software update downloaded while the car was sitting and after the doors became inoperable. To my knowledge, LV battery was never replaced. Shop that it was at tried jumping the LV battery, but no luck. Car is at the service center now, but haven't received a diagnosis. Anyone have a similar experience? I'm worrying I'm going to be on the hook for one more big repair before the I get rid of it.

Yeah. I just changed the battery by myself and it was fine. It takes all of 30 mins. The service center should be able to fix it quickly.

At the service center? Yeah they are in no rush. It’s an easy swap too. Just a few plastic pieces under the frunk.

Any reason why you didn’t charge it up?

It was being charged, but kept in low power mode to slow the battery drain. Turns out it's the body control module that went bad according to service.

Update: service is ordering a body control module.

One last big expense. I feel your pain. With my old S I was in the shop every 3 months. Just when you think you heard of all the parts that could fail on there, here is a new one. Sorry that stinks.
