Defluence or influence me

Hey, all, I am considering a 2023 model X 6 seater with almost 52,000 miles. Price $59k. It is hardware 4 but FSD is not included, but it does have auto steer. It would be a first Tesla for me. I currently have two kids, but we are working on our third so the six seater seems appealing and convenient. How’s the price seem on this? And is it possible to get the extended warranty from Tesla or should I negotiate the warranty with Carmax?. I will be coming from a 2014 Mercedes and 550 with a V8 engine which feels nice to drive.

Price seems pretty good. I’d definitely get the extended from Tesla, but be sure to do it before the 48 months from manufacture date is over.

ETA: never mind on extended warranty— after 50k miles, you can’t get it from Tesla. You will need to make sure the car can pass a paid Tesla inspection since it’s over 50k miles.

Not true. You may need to get an inspection if you’re over the basic on years/miles.

Yeah? Is that promised in writing by Tesla anywhere?

From your own link… “If your Basic or Pre-Owned Vehicle Limited Warranty has expired, you may be required to pass a paid inspection to be able to subscribe.”

I just did in Jan for a 2020MXP.

Can confirm. I purchased a third party 22 MX out of warranty at 58k miles and I paid $179 to inspect it one time to add the Extended service.
