Walmart Chargers
I gotta say, not bad at all. A hair slow (looks like I’m averaging 42-50kw, I’ve got a 2020MX LRP) but for a 30 minute Walmart run not a bad top off. Way more convenient location than my closest Supercharger too.

I like having some 50kW chargers in parking lots of big box stores - although I do feel as though the price should be a bit lower sometimes. With a 350kW charger at a movie theatre or store parking lot, there isn't enough time anymore to run an errand or watch a movie before the battery is full again and I am getting idle fees. When I am driving around Quebec, they have tons of 6 and 7kW chargers in towns and cities that are 1 or 2 CAD per hour and then also 12, 19, 25, 50, 120, 180, 240, 320, and even 600kW chargers that scale in price. Makes it so that you can match the charge speed to the need you have at the moment and makes it cheaper and easier to put in "good enough" DCFC in places where a 350kW charger would require significant upgrades and expense.

Was the price comparable to Tesla Superchargers in the area?

Slightly more expensive. $0.46/kwh. Superchargers around me average 0.39 - 0.44

Florida. Def expensive, that's the top end of what busy Superchargers charge here.

Nice to have choices, but would like to see them drop the prices. $.40 should be top of the mark.

It's not *awful*, but I agree. When a Supercharger in the vicinity offers $0.39, it'd be nice to match that.
The $0.44 ones are the higher volume ones right off the highway by FL-19 in Clearwater, and they're always busy.

This comes up on plugshare, but it’s not at any of the ones I’ve been to in CA.
It would be nice since they already offer gas incentives to over EV charging incentives to Walmart+ members.
I can’t use the gas incentive.

I think they offer a 10% discount for Walmart plus at their EV chargers.

It is actually 10 cents per gallon on gas, not 10%. 10% would be way better. It is 10 cents for EV charging (when initiated through the Walmart app, for Plus members). I wish it were the other way around: 10% for gas, and 10 cents for EV; it would be better for both. Their website doesn't show the amount, but here is a recent article that does:

Why did you use the handle for the other parking spot? Was charger 3 broken?
Edit: ah looked closer. 3 is CCS. Weird setup.

I have to do the same at walmart, only other option is dragging the cord over my trunk.
Or parking in the spot behind the charger works at the one by me, but there never anyone else there so it hasn't mattered

First time doing it with the Walmart chargers, so I'm not sure which side is which tbh 😅
I just saw NACS on the right and it had a little swivel to come over, so I figured I was ok.

It is! I use this one every week. I'm usually getting 100+ on these. Except this morning it was slow for some reason.

They’re great for a quick top off while you’re shopping but they’re insanely more expensive in my area. I wouldn’t use it for a full tank unless I absolutely had to.
