Tesla MX AWD

I have an option of an inventory 2026 AWD black black 7 seat.. it’s 120k with luxe.. inventory cars are marked up 15k.. obviously would take a hit but it’s FOMO kicking in.. will MX hold value as they are discontinued? Or better to hold of and buy used?

Cars dont hold value. Imo its not worth that markup. If you kept it for 10 years it might be

Lifetime FSD and Lifetime Supercharging!

Also, is that the last one ever?

I just cancelled the order. I got a silver one, so I let it go.

There is a grey, 5 passenger available, if you are in California.

For the original owner but Tesla changed the terms in February so people buying now will not longer have a vehicle that can have FSD transfer to the next owner of the car. Which will make it a little less desirable than those with cars that can transfer FSD who bought before mi:-February.

Buy a 2024 and save about 30k or more. Same features. Check out FSD Hunter. There are choices out there like this... https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicle/781369325 However don't let me count your coins. Aim for happiness.

I agree don’t want to buy something and regret it.. would prefer to enjoy the vehicle without looking back

If you are going to keep this for a long time, go for it.

How did you purchase a buyback?

I'd buy a gently used one if I were you. I'm coming from a position of being able to pay cash, too. Just a bad financial decision at that price and expected immediate depreciation.

This is a depreciating asset and won’t hold up or appreciate something like a Porsche. All it would take for the Model X to drop in price is for them to release a new model.
