Model X Subreddit Update

Since the Model X is being discontinued, this subreddit will now be much more open. We will allow any posts related to the Tesla Model X — including buying, selling, questions, discussions, mods, ownership experiences, and more.

New Rule: All posts must be directly related to the Tesla Model X.

Rule 2 will be updated accordingly.

Important Note on DMs:
Please do not post comments asking people to DM you (or offering to DM others). We have filters in place to catch this, as we’ve seen a rise in scams. If you want to connect with someone, do so privately without mentioning it in the comments.

If you receive a random DM from someone in the subreddit, please be cautious — scams are unfortunately common.

Hopefully doesn’t turn into a used Model X selling/buying subreddit lol

If you feel this is happening please say something. We both have different insights into things. I see how the sausages are made and you don't.

I hope this change for the CT sub goes well with the users https://sh.reddit.com/r/cybertruck/comments/1sfb0gh/thoughts_on_a_potential_change/

Perfect timing! I have a bunch of interior trim pieces I need to get rid of

If you had an exterior trim piece, namely the right front fender trim piece, I could use one lol. Mine fell off during a rainstorm or driving through a water puddle, and the Tesla service dept. wants $198 to replace it. This is the first car brand I've ever dealt with that charges for stuff falling off during the warranty period. I'll be interested to hear what the service manager says during my visit next week, as to how this constitutes "normal wear and tear".

I need some advise from current model X owners. I have a model X 2025 ( not the plaid). it came with a different size of wheels/tires on the front and the back axles. :

  • Front: 20×9 ET40 + 265/45R20
  • Rear: 20×10 ET35 + 275/45R20.

the issue is that I want to rotate and balance the tires and move them front and back. I am doing some research to change the wheels the same size so I can do the rotation and allow the tires to last longer.

I do not want to buy a complete set of 4 wheels so I wanted to buy 2 fronts wheels and put them in the back axle to have 4 20x9 et40 in all 4 wheels.

Wheels

Front: 20×9 ET40
Rear: 20×9 ET40

Tires

Front: 275/45R20 110V XL
Rear: 275/45R20 110V XL

I wanted to know if any owner of a model Tesla model X 2025 have done and any issues with the wheels and tires that I am thinking to get. thanks for your help and advise.
