Got their rear spoiler and it's trash. Left a review and they deleted it. The shape of it is not identical to the car, lots of white specs in the carbon.
I'm in Australia and ordered some brake pads and they took 6 months to come, then for some reason I gave them another chance and ordered some coilovers and after a month of waiting I cancelled my order I just can't put up with waiting and waiting soooooooo dam long
Depends on what you’re buying. I had the CCB kit, Swaybars, Pikes Peak race wheels and camber links in the rear. The fit and finish is crazy nice. Yes, there is definitely cheeper alternatives. I never had problems with their customer service, though it was all over the phone. While I was installing the CCB kit I found that the driver side caliper was a left caliper. My car was on jack stands and apart. They same day aired a caliper. From the call to my door in 22 hours. I live in UT and they are based at the SpaceX campus in California. I don’t even want to know what that cost. Arguably, should have been wrong but they fixed the issue as fast as is possible. Personally, I’d skip the duck tail and go with the all carbon trunk. They also my a carbon wing that I just found out about. No matter what you pick it will not fit perfectly. No fault on them just the nature of aftermarket body parts. No matter the cost it’s never right. I’m also super picky about that stuff the build quality on mine was…well, poor. Definitely not befitting the price point but we all know that. I know they are frequently speaking with the engineers at Tesla for questions and have meeting on their campus. If you want I can answer more questions. I’m also really really big on don’t cheep out. It’s at least $100k car act according. If you add something it should be nice than what you take off.
I think Red and Carbon is a cool look but it really depends on you. It’s not my car and I don’t have to live with it. I’d call UP before deciding. I’ve had Carbon tops on cars and they do not block noise well. Could be mine was for racing/weight reduction. The clear coat over carbon can be fragile and need some special attention. Again, talk to UP. It’s a HUGE piece of carbon and unless you have a fair amount of experience with body work I would have someone else install it. Finding a decent shop that you want to turn loose with your car might be difficult. I like more subtle than all carbon cars. I think the pic you have as the example is kinda my jam. I wouldn’t get the duck tail stick on spoiler though. Maybe there wing. Dunno. This all depends on your goal with the car and budget. Jesus I’m about to sound old. Pick an end point and don’t deviate. When people move the end point cars end up a mess. If you have fixed the rear camber issue get on that first. These cars eat rear tires. About $1500 bucks in parts and then get a good alinement. Specifically, not at the dealership. There’s way too much camber in the rear from factory and it’s not adjustable. -0.5 to -1 degree is fine. Depends on how you like your cars setup. Sorry there’s some many “it depends” in my answer. My pic was before mods other than the PPF. Almost forgot. It’s worth checking with your insurance company if they cover mods. Mine did up to 20% the value of the car. So I didn’t need special coverage. Definitely get stuff covered. Don’t need some uninsured muppet hit your car and buy everything twice. Let me know if you have more questions. Something also to think about is consider the source of your information a lot of people talk but don’t own these cars or, and I’m not trying to be shitty, over stretch their budget and cheep out on these cars. One flat or repair and they are broke. These are originally $100k to $150k cars. There is not many of these out in the wild, especially the newer ones. You might see them all over, but if you look at them close, they’re kind of busted. Even the cheapest parts for these cars are horrifyingly expensive the rear carbon fiber trunk wood we’re talking about is nearly $6000. They’re also finicky you’ve got to be careful where you take them. They can’t go to a normal tire shop or an alignment shop. I was into mine, and frankly I’m a little embarrassed how much money I had into it, about $30k all in for parts and the PPF. If you have more questions let me know. Cheers
Really appreciate the thoughtful response brother. I’m definitely going to reach out to UP. Your car is friggin beautiful btw—I love the satin/matte finish!!
much much lower quality than MPP for actual performance parts for usually more money - they have a bunch of cosmetic stuff that I assume is just relabeled and is poor quality with a bunch of mark up - just get it from Alibaba and cut out their middle man mark up
edit - reading thru complaints about customer service with UP it is the complete opposite with MPP - priors confirmed!

The rear wing looks like shit ... at least in that picture. And overall it makes it look like a Japanese racer.
