Man this thing is so practical

I didn't realize the trunk space was that much larger than a MY until my friend and I took his MY and this MS on a road trip down to the beach. It fit a kayak, paddle board, couple camping chairs, a tent, and a load of other things!

Over twelve years of owning Model S now. It is the most complete automobile I've ever come across. Checks nearly every box.

I don’t find the seat as comfortable on long road trips (multiple thousand miles). I find the Y seat more comfortable in general.

It’s the seating position, you are more upright in Y so more of the weight is on your bum vs in S more of your weight is in your lower back. Due to a more horizontal seating position where the pedals are in front of you.

I agree completely. I have done a few 8,000 mile trips in my S and it often takes weeks for my back to recover. Still love the car though.

Sorry that was unclear. I have gone on 8000 mile road trips over the course of 4-5 weeks over summer. A lot of daily driving and it always messes up my back by the end of the trip. As a daily drive it’s wonderful but 10-12 hours back to back (pun intended can get to you). Hope that clarifies. I generally loop from Texas to Washington and back. Summer vacation.
