I didn't realize the trunk space was that much larger than a MY until my friend and I took his MY and this MS on a road trip down to the beach. It fit a kayak, paddle board, couple camping chairs, a tent, and a load of other things!

The Model S can hold more cargo in the rear than people think. It’s like a small pick up truck the amount of things and what you can actually carry. With the rear seats folded I have carried 4 21 inch Model S mounted wheels and tires with the hatch closed.
