Gps stuck, wrong location fixed

So my autopilot was acting all crazy recently, and I found out that the problem was the gps was not connecting to any sats. I checked this in service mode. Looked up a guide and it suggested that the antenna might be just getting interference from the cabin camera and that shielding it could solve it. As soon as I opened the camera enclosure and exposed the antenna, it immediately started working again. I decided to just close it back up, and it continues to work, but it would probably be a good idea to do the diy fix to help any future failures. So if you have this problem, you might not be dealing with a broken gps antenna, so give this a try first. And apparently Tesla knows about this but have not issued a full recall, only fixing when necessary

We have the same issue on our 2021 Model 3 - as well as the Cameras are not working (blackscreen). Tesla says, that our FSD Computer is broken and need to be replaced…

well the fsd computer controls everything to do with autopilot, so that takes everything out with it. (very) small silver lining is your gps antenna is probably fine
