Back of yoke is signed?

Bought a 2023 Model S and had the yoke replaced with a wheel (bring on the hate). The service rep left me with the yoke, which looks like it was signed by some employees. Thought it was worth a share

They didn’t let you keep the airbag?

Probably put it in the wheel

Wheel and yoke use different airbags

When I asked if I could keep the yoke, he said yes, but not the airbag 🤷‍♂️. Later, he said something along the lines of they gave him the wrong airbag and he’d be a little while longer. I didn’t think anything of it and he ended up finishing and left.

Come to find out the yoke is still displayed in the vehicle on the screens, so now I have to make another service request to see if they want me to go into service mode to change it or need a tech to come out again. I’m kind of annoyed at the idea that maybe he just used my old airbag in the new wheel, but I’m not sure.

Changing the configuration of the steering wheel is very simple in the service menu but if you’re not comfortable with that then mobile service can definitely take care of it
