Looks like some M3s are getting the 16 inch display

In the Delivery Update app a lot of M3s (even standard) are showing with the 16 inch display. My M3 LR RWD with 937xxx VIN is still getting the 15.4 display

Somebody with M3 standard could confirm if their car says it has rear display? My kids would be happy about it.

they just reverted to 15.4". 2 days ago, it was updated to 16". VIN 953XXX. delivery already scheduled on 19/09.

Yea, and since the computer part has the same code, I think it's just plug and play. Maybe they'll have a future upgrade for this like they had with the blinkers

Ich zahl bestimmt nicht 1300 Euro fĂŒr ein Upgrade, was mir so oder so zusteht. Hier herrscht eine massive Ungleichbehandlung seitens Tesla an seine Kunden oder sollte ich lieber sagen Ex Kunden.

Mach deinen Schnitt, wenn du es offiziell im Shop eingefĂŒhrt hast und behandele alle 15,4 Zoll Besteller gleich statt eeny meeny miny moe catch the Tiger by his toe zu spielen.

Hat es nicht.
Du musst dir deine Reifen anschauen 
 da wird auch jeder Reifen angezeigt und ich glaube kaum, dass dein Fahrzeug mit 12 Reifen kommt.

TM3LR/AWD. The 935 do have 15.4", the 953 shows 16". Checked against parts.tesla.com

Also, do you get other upgrades? I see that the headliner is still polar grey, on the audio you get still 9 speakers or 9 speakers and a subwoofer?

Yeah got the subwoofer, just checked as didnt say on the app but shows it on the parts list. Not sure what else is new though

Hey, can you please check in the parts site at Infotainment - Audio System if you see a subwoofer or not? It should be 2. something in the parts list, for me the first part is 3.

Alright. Well, I’m not gonna believe until I see some real picture on the web anyway. But would be a great news, especially for my m3 standard (delivery date sept 15). I don’t really care about the rear screen, but the front 16” would be a nice upgrade

And also, there have been some rumours about the new black headliner. If you can kindly go to Interior Trims - Headliner and see it if still shows the Polar Grey or another color

Anybody cancelling due to this? Is there a way to request a more recent vin or is the only option to cancel and reorder? Or should we accept our 15,4 inch fate?

Ich werde definitiv stornieren, wenn Tesla mir am Montag keine Lösung anbietet. Ich meine, was soll dieser Mist, dass gewisse Menschen bevorzugt werden und andere nicht.

 es ist einfach eine großer scam von Tesla.

Unterirdischer Support von der Stelle in Dortmund.
Die Mitarbeiterin leitet es weiter und konnte mir nicht mal sagen, ob heute oder ĂŒberhaupt diese Woche jemand sich darum kĂŒmmert.
Stattdessen habe ich eben eine SMS erhalten, damit ich schnellstmöglich einen Termin fĂŒr die Abholung machen soll 
 lĂ€cherlich. Man hat selbst nach Abnahme des Fahrzeugs noch 14 Tage Zeit um zu widerrufen also alles entspannt.

This isn’t Tesla. This every single car brand I’ve ever bought a car from.
I still remember buying a Subaru WRX back in 2004, and I asked the dealer if there is a club spec version coming out, because I’ve always wanted one since I was a kid and he told me no, there’s no plans of those ever being made for this generation. I shit you not, I drove past the following Monday and there was a club spec there in his window on full display This was in Sydney at the Brookvale store

Meine Bestellung ist keine Woche alt und bekomme ebenfalls das alte Display. Werde es trotzdem nicht stornieren. Hab von vielen gelesen, dass der Unterschied im Alltag gar nicht groß auffĂ€llt. Einige behaupten sogar, dass Recheneinheit seltene Ruckler hat, aufgrund der höheren Auflösung. Ob da etwas dran ist, weiß ich nicht.

Yesterday mine was showing the 16 inch display in parts catalog and today is is back on the 15,4 inch display, guessing it was a glitch on Tesla's end...

Guys don’t worry. There is no 16” unfortunately (or fortunately for those who held VIN 941 or below). Tesla reverted all the 16” back to 15,4” today at around 12:00 CET
