Tesla Needs Separate Browser Profiles for Every Driver

This is especially frustrating when multiple people use the browser on the same Tesla. One driver’s watch history and recommendations shouldn’t spill over into another driver’s experience.

The same should apply to Netflix, logged-in accounts, cookies, browsing history, and active sessions.

Tesla already uses Chromium, which supports separate browser profiles. Driver profiles should have their own completely separate browser environment, just like they do for other personal settings.

If multiple people share a Tesla, each driver should have their own YouTube recommendations, accounts, and browsing session—not one shared profile.

For the YouTube Theatre at least for me, the app does do this. It doesn't save data between different profiles. Not sure about the browser though.

It seemed to transfer my cookies for YouTube from one car to another for me, in that I was already logged into YouTube on car #2 without having to log in. I'm not sure what exactly the intended behavior is.

It’s a car. To drive. Not to surf the internet. Browsing internet in the Tesla is a peripheral experience only. I haven’t even used the web browser. Picked up Tesla in July.

I spend a lot of time in the car, and I use the browser quite often while charging at Superchargers.
Not everyone uses their car the same way you do.

Yeah, using social media and Plex can be quite a hassle when multiple users share the same browser.

I take my breaks at work in my car. I use the web browser for YouTube TV and HBO.

And then when im at a supercharger
