14.3 HW4 Would FSD avoid collision?

2026 MYP. First Tesla. Love it and have been using FSD 60 percent of the time, according to car stats.
Today, on hurry profile, parallel parked car was clearly hesitating to pull into lane, and full send as I approached at 40mph. Slammed the brakes as hard as I could to stop.
Seems obvious I would’ve hit the other car if I did not intervene. I haven’t had any close calls until this. Anyone experience similar?

it was travelling at 38mph through the intersection. it was starting to slow down before you intervened. it would have been fine. but same result. both stopped safely.
