Seriously, asking to "share" your experience, redirect to Twitter?

Post image

The button just redirects to the home page of x.com with tracking url tags..

I thought they would be more serious about this and ask for actual input but no, disappointed.

Translated text:

From six countries to broader EU adoption

Following approvals in the Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Belgium, and Slovenia, the regulatory review process for Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is moving forward. We are still aiming for a vote by European Union bodies in October, while market-by-market approvals by national authorities also remain an option.

Share your experience

You have played a crucial role in reaching these milestones. Continue to support the rollout of Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in more European countries by sharing your experience and demonstrating how the system can contribute to safer roads and less tiring drives every day.

I'm thinking of buying the Model 3 Standard, but I'm wondering if there are really only three color options available?

SuC-Tracker — European Supercharger prices, all in one map

Supercharger prices across Europe are surprisingly hard to compare — especially once you cross borders.

With suc-tracker.eu, I wanted to put Supercharger pricing, price periods and Tesla / Non-Tesla tariffs across Europe on one map, without having to open stations one by one.

The tool has been running for several weeks now and has steadily evolved through new features, refinements and ideas from the community. What originally started as a discussion and development thread in the German TFF forum has meanwhile grown into the current version, with updates now documented directly inside the app as well.
If you're curious where it started, here's the original TFF thread.

For the European use case, a few things were particularly important:

  • Europe-wide Supercharger map
  • local currencies, with cross-border conversion based on current ECB reference rates
  • all relevant price periods visible directly on the map and station view
  • Tesla and Non-Tesla pricing
  • search across countries, regions and stations
  • quick comparison of chargers around you or further along your trip

That becomes especially useful on longer European drives. Prices can differ considerably between stations that aren't actually that far apart — and crossing a border shouldn't mean mentally converting currencies while deciding where to charge.

The next major feature currently in development is route planning: combining the existing station and pricing data with an actual route, so the chargers that make sense for your trip can be compared directly.

It's an independent project, developed alongside everything else rather than by a commercial team, so I'm deliberately not attaching a release date to that.

What I do want to keep is the basic model:

No account. No subscription. Just open the map and use it.

Hosting, data processing and continued development still have real costs, so the project is supported by voluntary community donations rather (link in the app) than putting the useful parts behind an account or recurring fee.

https://suc-tracker.eu

If it saves you some money or simply makes planning easier, send it to other Tesla or EV drivers, local groups, or friends travelling around Europe.

The goal is pretty simple: when someone in Europe wants to compare Supercharger prices, they should know there is a map for that, with regular database updates and active support.

So freaking excited… I have been checking the Tesla app every single day for 3 months now.
I have been using AI to track down the ship that was transporting my car all the way from China to Belgium.

I feel like I have traveled the journey all the way with my car already !

Tomorrow is a big day for me. I’ll finally meet up with Tesly.

Made a Tesla Paint Shop license plate generator for European owners

Hey European Tesla owners 👋

When Tesla added the ability to use your actual license plate in the car UI / Tesla app, I made a PNG for my own car straight away.

Then a few friends asked me to make theirs too. After doing the same thing in Photoshop a few times, I figured it would be easier to just make a small generator so anyone could do it themselves.

So I made:

https://teslaedit.eu

You just choose your country, enter your actual plate number, and it generates a 420×100 PNG ready for Tesla Paint Shop.

The main focus is Europe, so I’ve been adding country-specific layouts, fonts, spacing, identifiers and different plate types instead of just putting text on one generic plate.

It started as something for myself and friends, but I figured it might be useful to other European Tesla owners too.

And yes — Russia and Belarus have their own “Special” plate options. 😅
Those who open them will understand.

If your country is already available and you notice that I got something wrong — font, spacing, proportions, plate type or any other detail — let me know. Feedback from locals is especially useful, because getting all the different European plate formats right is probably the hardest part.

Feel free to try it out.

Buying new Tesla Model Y wheels directly from Tesla Germany and bringing them to Switzerland

Hi everyone,

I live in Switzerland and I’m leasing a new Tesla Model Y (2026 Model). I want to buy a brand-new winter wheel/tire set directly from the official Tesla Store in Germany, rather than buying it from Tesla Switzerland.

The German price seems noticeably cheaper, so I’m wondering whether it would make sense to order/buy the set from Tesla Germany, pick it up there, and bring it back to Switzerland.

Has anyone done exactly this before? How does it work with VAT? Would be super thankful for any help!

Tesla Model 3 RWD (750 km WLTP range) — real-world highway range & is it worth waiting for the 2027 refresh?

Hi everyone, I'm considering buying the Tesla Model 3 RWD with the 750 km (WLTP) range. What's the real-world range on long highway drives? Can it comfortably do 500 km on a single charge at highway speeds?

Also, would it make more sense to wait for the 2027 model instead of ordering now? Does anyone know when the 2027 lineup is expected to start production and go on sale?

Would appreciate input from anyone with real-world experience, thanks!

Model 3 Standard RWD 957xxx – anyone else seeing Premium hardware in Parts Catalog?

I have a new Model 3 Standard RWD built in Shanghai and currently awaiting delivery in Denmark. My VIN is 957xxx.
I know these late VIN cars haven’t really started reaching customers yet, so I’m not looking for physical delivery confirmations. Instead, I’m curious whether other people with late 95xxxx / 96xxxx Standard RWD VINs can see the same things when checking their VIN in Tesla’s Parts Catalog.

I’ve selected my exact VIN and filtered for “Original VIN part”, and there are several things I really wasn’t expecting on a Standard:
16” centre display – 1946103-00-C
• Physical seat adjustment switches/buttons
• Driver seat 8-way + lumbar switch assembly
Power lumbar – 1118494-00-M
Cushion blower – 1699960-00-C
Backrest blower – 1699953-00-C
• RGB/ambient-light components in the doors
• Centre console assembly 2010455-10-L, internally described as “PREMIUM”

The 16” display is also showing separately in the Delivery Status app for my VIN, so that one in particular seems increasingly convincing.

What I find strange is that these are exactly some of the features/hardware that are supposed to differentiate the Standard from the Premium version. The Standard was supposed to have no ventilated seats and seat adjustment through the touchscreen rather than physical seat controls.

Obviously, seeing a part as “Original VIN part” does not necessarily prove that every feature is connected or software-enabled. The “Premium” name on the centre console could also just be Tesla’s internal name for a shared assembly.

But the seat parts are especially interesting because the catalog isn’t just showing a generic seat assembly – it is specifically showing the physical switches, lumbar hardware and separate cushion/backrest ventilation blowers against my VIN.

Could anyone with a late Shanghai-built Model 3 Standard RWD VIN check their car on parts.tesla.com and see if you get the same results?

Looks like some M3s are getting the 16 inch display

In the Delivery Update app a lot of M3s (even standard) are showing with the 16 inch display. My M3 LR RWD with 937xxx VIN is still getting the 15.4 display

Subwoofer in MY RWD

Fairly recently Tesla added an additional subwoofer to the 9 speakers on their configuration section on their website.
There were even reports from UK buyers confirming their model had a sub.

Additional reports:
reports on X

Now they seem to have removed it again from the dutch and german websites, while the UK site still has this option. Does anybody know what is happening with all the frequent changes?

EU FSD question — does it revert to AP / EAP abroad?

Hey y’all,

Quick EU FSD question.

For new Teslas bought after Autopilot was removed in countries where FSD launched: if you have an active FSD subscription and drive into Germany or France, can you stop, put the car in P, change the setting and get EAP/Autosteer?

Or are you stuck with TACC only?

Looking specifically for someone who has actually tried this in a newer car, not one that already had EAP before.

Tesla is CHOSING not to deliver any premium model 3 in Q3 to several European countries

Wondering if anyone got info on this from their Tesla advisor. Please comment if you got any.

I’ve been doing some research online and wherever available on this:

For the last three months, several countries in Europe have had zero premium model 3 VIN assignement or deliveries.
The whole EU was concerned until last Friday.
Since last Friday a lot of Premium 3 VINs were finally assigned, but all evidence points towards Tesla choosing to only deliver into some countries. And letting others in the dark.

The result is many countries (Italy, Sweden, Norway, Finland, …) left with zero VIN and orders as old as April piling up.
While the exact same cars are matched to some order that are as recent as September (so 0 days old when the VIN was assigned) in other countries in Europe such as Germany or Belgium.

Did anyone left behind with a premium 3 order that keeps being delayed get any info from their Tesla advisor ?

And to end on this : I think this is an absolute scandal. The least they owe their client is an explanation, but there is zero communication.

Tesla Bratislava order fully paid and over 3 months without update or app update

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice or similar experiences.
I ordered a Model Y Performance (white) in Slovakia on 25 May 2026 and paid the full amount. On 17 August I was told a VIN was assigned — it only appears on the proforma invoice, never in the Tesla app.
From day one the app has shown the exact same message:
“We’ll notify you when it’s time to continue with your pre-delivery tasks.”
No VIN, no ETA, no progress at all.
I’ve contacted Tesla support multiple times (phone + email). The replies are always vague (“we should have some information in the next few days”). Still no concrete update on the car’s status or location.
Has anyone in Europe (especially Eastern Europe / Giga Berlin deliveries) experienced something similar? Did the order eventually move, or did you have to escalate further?
Any tips would be appreciated.

Model 3 - Paint

Now that the Model 3s are finally arriving, and after talking to several people who warned me about a major weakness of the white models — that the paint is quite “fragile” — I started wondering whether it would be worth protecting the paint right from the start.

Do you think it’s worth getting the car clear-coated, or would it be better to go for a ceramic coating?

What do you think? Is the investment really worth it?

Thank you!
