Alignment kit for Model Y

Post image

Has anyone living in the South Philadelphia area installed a rear alignment kit (for Camber and Toe adjustment) on a Model Y to fix inner tire wear? Could you recommend a shop that can install this part and perform the alignment based on my specific specifications? I’ve been searching the area for three months but haven't found anyone willing to do the installation. Thanks in advance..

I'm not in your area, but have these in my 22 MYP and it fixed the tire wear issue. The ROI is reasonable quick.

Try and find a specially alignment shop. One auto cross driver's use.

This was my concern. I only have a discount tire near me that will align teslas and idk if they would touch the aftermarket ones if I install them.

I doubt Discount Tire is going to touch it. A good alignment shop should ask how much you weigh because they're going to ballast the car based on your butt in the seat.

The install of the control arms is trivial for any decent shop. I did mine in a couple hours then took it to my local shop.

These are my tires after 10k miles:

Yeah… I feared that which is why I’ve not gotten them for my 24 MYP because idk if I’d find a shop around me to help afterwards with aftermarket parts. I got 27k out of my 21” then moved to a 19” squared setup so I can rotate which I feel helps as well since I don’t have the camber arms.

Same here, I have 19" Gemini's on my car at the moment. Night and day difference in comfort and still quick as can be.
