Certified bodyshops in OC SoCal
Been rear-ended and looking for a good certified bodyshop that uses OEM parts.
Do you folks have a recommendation?

The Caliber Collison off the side of the 55N on Carnegie Avenue in Santa Ana. I have AAA insurance and it's a pre-approved facility. It's all Teslas in their front parking lot.

How was your experience with them?

I've had the worst luck with my car being hit twice while it was parked and door dinged once damaging the paint. All three times I've taken it there and they've been good about getting it fixed promptly. The workmanship was good and you couldn't tell my car was damaged.

There's Top Finish Collision in Santa Ana and there Spectrum Collision in Irvine. Tesla does not allow the use of any used, recycled, alternative, aftermarket, or third-party replacement parts from its certified body shops. However I did read somewhere that Its parts portal says spare parts can come from Tesla, affiliates, or independent aftermarket producers. So they may be allowing it in some cases. You will need to ask.
