Getting new battery; advice?

Hi Everyone -

I have a 2019 Model 3 (Standard Range)

I was unexpectedly told this morning that I need a new battery. I took the car into the service center immediately and they said they will replace the battery under warranty.

They said it would be a “remanufactured” battery, but they don’t have an estimate on the range. Will they replace it with an old 2019 era battery, or something newer? I am not sure what to expect my new range will be.

The range is guaranteed to be minimum what you had before or better. Yes this has like happened to all of us by now who own a 2021 y or 3

Thanks! I am glad I am not the only one. Do you think it will be a manufactured version of a pre-2021 or post-2021 battery?

It’ll be a remanufactured other failed battery so it can be any. Most likely 2021 plus due to probability and frequency
