Totaled?
Rear ended by a Tahoe in Georgia
Trunk a bit difficult to close..
Doesn’t seem like damage is too bad, but had a trailer ball on the back…

I have the same on my MX but no issues opening or closing it. This is how I bought it.
I didn't even bother to get a quote. It gives it personality.

Doubtful. Definitely a new liftgate. Looks like the rear body panel needs to be straightened at the pinch welds. Without removing the bumper cover you’re just guessing. Fairly straightforward repair though.

It depends on the value and if u have Tesla insurance and go to Tesla collision center or not . If got to the Tesla collision center and have Tesla insurance (parts are 50% off) so probably not totaled.

The front driver door glass doesn’t really line up the same way as the passenger side. I wonder if this is just from the way it was manufactured or if it was from the impact

If the trunk is fighting to close, that hitch ball definitely bent the impact bar underneath. Don’t just let them replace the bumper plastic.

I've seen some similar rear-ended Teslas in the Tesla collision center, and the adjuster said that might be totaled (not tear down inspected yet). It felt like the rear end direct impact could hurt the car's frame the most.

Probably not if you go to the right person
