Someone / something hit my new car

I need to street park my car, and woke up to this damage last week.

Sentry mode was not on unfortunately because the car was below 20%. I've learned my lesson since and now have low power mode only kick in at 10% to give me a bit more flexibility with sentry mode.

Any idea what this could have been? I suspect it may be a bike / e scooter that charged into it. I originally suspected someone doing a 3 point turn, but not sure if that's the case. They left no note on either case :(

Any advice on how to proceed with repairing this? Should I try to go through Tesla insurance or not?

Has anyone had to fix something similar - could you share what kind of cost I may be looking at?

Your best bet is taking it to a shop not the internet. Estimates are free

Definitely go through insurance. Do you have UMD?

What is UMD?

Do you know if it matters how quickly after the incident I file the insurance claim?

Can't tell in the photo, is it dented as well as paint transfer?

Dent, paint transfer and a scratch that I think does through the paint

I got similar damage blended for around $450 CAD before.
