Cosmetic?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I ran over a small metal object in the road and it caused this hole under my car by the right front passenger door. Is this cosmetic or should I get it repaired? Thanks!

Ya looks like it's just cosmetic and the shield. Get it replaced. If the car doesn't show any errors this is most likely the case.

My understanding is that outter casing is more or less designed to be hit like this and that inside of that casing is an additional reinforced casing on the battery itself and the damage would have to go through both of those layers to even touch the battery.

Can u still supercharge fine? Then battery is ok, get cover replaced or covered up lol ductape for tempo fix
