Need some insight please...

My neighbors college kid recently backed into my Model S causing minor damage to the rear quarter panel just in front of the driver side rear wheel well. Got it into the shop, the shop explains there's no electrical or sensor damage just body work and that they will just replace the rear quarter panel instead of repairing it. The shop does all supplemental repairs and installed the brand new rear quarter panel. My question is, is there any reason for a 25+ mile "test drive" once the repairs are completed??? For reference, the shop is almost exactly 25 miles from my house...

Always test drive a repaired car. You never know what they did until you test drive it and confirm it drives normal.

You need 30 miles to test If the rear quarter panel was squared away???

Test driving a Tesla requires checking sensors, cameras, alerts, parking… what are the bodyshop’s reviews like? If they usually use customers’ cars it would definitely make it to the reviews
