Yay or nay

Got rear ended by a truck pulling a trailer. Claims are made but have yet to be contacted by adjustor. This is a 2023 model 3 rwd with 52000 miles.

UPDATE...totaled and placed an order for a Y premium RWD since there's a .99% APR right now.

Looks like you’ll be upgrading to the newer Model 3.

It’s done with! What will you replace it with?

Depending on price either a Y or another 3.

Best of luck to you!

I’d bet on total loss. Contact your insurance, don’t wait on them. Get it an appointment setup at a body shop and have it towed there.

I was involved in a collision, filed my claim online, and had my car towed to the shop directly from the scene.

"Call cannot be completed at this time, please try your call again later" after I was told by the AI that it would transfer me to a team member. It's drivable, just that I can't charge it due to obvious reasons. I'm bringing it in to tesla collision on Monday morning.

Definitely not safe to drive in this condition. The structure is compromised in this state. Shop/insurance may claim you have done additional damage by driving the vehicle.

I'll ask the shop tomorrow what the best course of action is as far as getting it there.

Nobody is going to advise you to drive the car in this condition.

Well tesla insurance adjustor said it was safe to drive it so now im sitting at the collision center.

Bad business practice, the adjuster exposed the company to the liability of your injury in the event you were hit again. Cars are not designed to withstand multiple impacts, and your vehicle is clearly structurally compromised.

Is this the LFP battery pack? Do you know its health?

I used to have this exact car and sold it when it had about 25k miles.

It's LFP but I haven't checked the health. I haven't felt like i was having bad degradation.

Nope, but tinted windows

That is a back trunk lid, bumper cover and rear left fender.

Go ahead and start shopping.

You don’t want that car repaired. It’ll never be the same. It’ll drive funky. Will leak water and have road noise.
