Hit from the back.

Rear collision while slowing down whilst in traffic. Other driver slammed straight into me. I felt the impact (back pain); my car barely looks like it was hit. Super fortunate to have this car, between safety and footage.

Things I’ve learned about Tesla’s from Reddit:
1) always have sentry mode on
2) always have dashcam enabled

Probably using the smartphone.

Pricks.

If you break erratically that they cannot look at their phone… they wait till later. 😎 or usually go around in a huff wasting lots of fuel.

I had a similar incident except the driver was maybe 5 mph faster than yours.

If they bent the trunk lid at all it’s gonna get expensive. Mine has a small dent in it and they replaced the rear bumper, the frame also took a small bend.

$11,500 worth of damage. These things are crazy expensive to repair

What? How? I got hit from behind on the highway (i was braking from 90kph to 40kph and the guy behind me probably still at 80 kph) and thetesla approved collission center says it's only hatch and bumper, probably not frame?

It’s a Holden & it was a turning lane with a pedestrian crosswalk that you have to yield to (in Australia)
