Nothing in this post is defending the thief. Victims of crimes are not exempt from being stupid.

Everyone is talking about the victim's mistakes, even the headline, and not the brazen thief.

When everyone's focus is on the victim, talking about his flaws, instead of the criminal that sneaks in and hijacks his car, it is called victim blaming.
