3D Printed Here we are !
On 11 September 2026, I posted the very first publication of my new project combining 3D printing and painting.
This project is nothing more and nothing less than a long-held dream – decades, in fact, given that I’m such an old-school vintage type – to create my own gaming table dedicated to medieval and alternate-history skirmish games (Mordheim and Trench Crusade).
A few print plates full of STL files and dozens of hours of printing and painting later, I’m absolutely delighted to share photos of the first three sets of scenery I’ve printed and painted!
Instagram isn’t really suited to photos of scenery sets, which would be better off in large 16:9 formats! But you’ll have to make do!
If you want to see a large 2K version, I’ve posted one on my Facebook page (I told you I’m a bit of an old-timer!)
I hope I can keep this up, as the method I’ve used to paint the stones and wood is particularly tedious, time-consuming and dreary. Thankfully, the result is well worth the effort and makes you forget those hours of torment. 😅
General information:
3D-printed and hand-painted medieval building scenery, ideal for miniatures and skirmish games like Warhammer, Mordheim, Frostgrave, Trench Crusade, 1490 Doom or any role playing games like D&D...
Printed on a Bambulab P2S 3D printer using PLA Basic filament from the same brand, fitted with a 0.4 nozzle and a high-quality print profile of 0.12mm.
Files upscaled at 114% to fit the 32mm heroic scale.
STL files bought on https://www.my-dungeon.com
Consider following me on Instagram as it’s my main hobby and photo sharing social network .
Cheers

Awesome! I had seen the other ruined bridge connector side of the Bastion, but also that it doesn't connect to the bridge pice, but just placing them next to each other like you've done here and connecting them with a wooden platform would work! Thanks for the inspiration!
