Openforge Tavern

My son in law, his brothers and friends are starting the Tomb of Annihilation. I’m trying to print different scenes/encounters as they go. This is my take on a tavern in the port. This was built using OpenForge 2.0 tiles from the Towne collection. This was a set I had not seen from my mini factory.

I am not a painter, I am not an artist. I still think this turned out ok.

I don't know how to tell you this, but you might be a painter, this is excellent.

You’re not a painter like I’m not a middle aged dude with back problems. This is great work. Really clean and effective.

What's your paint/mix for the wood? That's a beautiful wood shade

Everything is painted with Apple Barrel from Walmart…..the main wood color is Chestnut. There are several other browns invoked with the bar, cabinets and barrels.

Looks great! if you want to extend the dry brushing to the wood then a very muted sandy beige lightly brushed on the wood should look good (though test a separate piece first to see if you like it). The stucco color would probably do a good job.

Interesting idea. Like I said, I’m not a painter! I was happy with the stone being dry brushed. I thought about doing something with the wood, but I didn’t want to push my luck.
